Learn how to paint vibrant, expressive portraits using oil paints in this beginner-to-intermediate workshop. Instead of copying a photo step-by-step on screen, you'll learn the techniques behind creating colorful portraits, so you can paint with more freedom using color, and your own artistic style.

Hi, I'm Elena!
I’m a visual artist based in Spain, working mainly in oil, though I also enjoy exploring gouache and watercolor. I studied Fine Arts at Valencia’s Polytechnic University (2016–2020), where I developed my passion for color, form, and creative expression.
My paintings are often characterized by vivid, sometimes surreal environments and a pursuit of beauty that feels somehow larger than myself. Through organic and intuitive brushwork, glazes, subtle details, and color, I aim to create images that feel both raw and refined — rooted in the human figure but shaped by memory, emotion, and experience.
